McCollum, Rene Elaine

Rene Elaine McCollum, 53, of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at her home.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Gary R. McCollum, of Christiansburg; three daughters and sonsin-law, Geniece and David Lehmann, of Rochester, N.Y., Meagan and Robert Remler, of Athens, N.Y., and Ryan Lynn McCollum, of Rochester, N.Y.; parents, Ronald D. and Pauline Snyder Krohl, of Wake Forest, N.C.; three brothers and sistersin-law, Mark and Linda Krohl, of Greenville, S.C., Mitchell and Erin Krohl, of Raleigh, N.C., and Kip and Gina Krohl, of Wake Forest, N.C.; sister, Christine Krohl, of Wake Forest, N.C.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at the Cambria Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
