McClench III, William Wallace

William Wallace (Bill) McClench III, 54, of Blacksburg, formerly of Fairfax, died on Monday, July 9, 2012, at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Wallace McClench II. He is survived by his mother, Lynn McClench, sister Mary Keffer, brother-in-law Frank Keffer, niece and nephew Anna and Andrew Keffer.

Special thanks to all the nurses, doctors and support staff at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and the Blue Ridge Cancer Care Center, for their kindness and excellent care.

The family will have an informal visitation on Wednesday, July from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, in Blacksburg. At Bill’s request, there will not be a funeral service. Interment will be in Springfield, Mass. at a later date.
