Mary Marie McClellan, 89, of Pembroke, and Loudon County, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, May 18, 2011, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va. Born in Pembroke on November 4, 1921, she was a daughter of the late William Samuel and Mary Helen Gillispie Stevers. She had worked at Frank Williams Dairy Farm in Leesburg, Dulles Airport, and Johnson’s Charcoal House of Beef in Leesburg, and graduated from Aldie School. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Carl C. McClellan; her son, Christopher Harold McClellan; her brothers, David, Alfred, and Marcus Stevers; her grandson, Tony Len Williams; and her sisters, Lelia S. Williams and Arlene S. Burton. She leaves to cherish her memory her seven sons and daughters-in-law and five daughters and sons-in-law, William and Evelyn McClellan, Gary and Tabby McClellan, Neal McClellan, Johnny and Ginger McClellan, all of Berryville, Brenda and Larry Williams, of Lucketts, Roger and Barbara McClellan, of Florida, Carl McClellan, of Winchester, and Glenda Williams, of Winchester, Helen and Roger Hall, of Leesburg, Allen and Donna McClellan, of Tennessee, Theresa and Ralph Santolla, of Pembroke, and April McClellan and Timmy (Bones) Jones, of Pembroke; and was blessed with her 36 grandchildren; her 58 greatgrandchildren; her 14 greatgreat-grandchildren; and her sister, Andrienne S. Harris, of Bumpass. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke where the family will receive friends for two hours before the services. Graveside Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Taylorstown, Loudon County, where the family will receive friends at the Mt.
