McClaugherty, Gemmia Shria

Gemmia Shria McClaugherty, 38, of Christiansburg, “They say the lion shall lay down with the lamb.” On June 17, 2011 our lamb, Gemmia Shria McClaugherty, left this life and is now laying in the arms of the lion of Judah. She is survived by her daughter, Landice Alicia McClaugherty; father and mother, James and Charlotte McClaugherty; brother, Sean McClaugherty; sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and Kevin Bond; niece and nephew, Jada and Logan Bond; grandfather, Garland Henry Spencer; a special friend, William Ratcliff. Gemmia is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends. The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Radford Church of God of Prophecy, 6th Street, Radford, with the Rev. Cecil Frazier and the Rev. Bruce Gregory officiating.
