Mayo, Janet Leigh

Janet Leigh Mayo, 64, of Elliston, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She is preceded in death by a son, Tommy W. McAlwee; and a sister, Mary E. Smith.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Matthew W. Mayo; sisters, Rebecka Austin (Ronald) and Doris Guinn (Richard); three grandchildren; numerous nieces; and nephews; and one special niece, Donna Shepherd, that took care of her for the last few years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Mountain Creek Community Center, Dark Run Rd., Elliston.

Ms. Mayo is entrusted to Valley Funeral Home, 562-1182.
