Massie, Sr., Recardo
Recardo Massie Sr. departed this life February 10, 2022 in the care of Wythe County Community Hospital. Recardo was born in Pulaski, VA on April 23, 1956.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a sister; the mother of his children, Susie Massie; his children, Tammy Massie, Maggie Massie, and Robert Massie; and a great-grandchild, Maddox Mullins.
Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his wife, Betty Massie, a son, Ricky Massie, Jr of Pulaski; a daughter, Tina Johnson (Jay) of Pulaski; stepchildren, Jonathan Hazelwood (Kayla) of Bluefield, WV, Sharon Hazelwood of Princeton, WV, and Anthony Hazelwood of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Melanie Mullins (Kyle), Jesse Massie, and Jaxson Johnson; 4 step-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren, Rowen Mullins, Robert Mullins, and Remington Mullins.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to be serving the Massie Family.
