Masella, Dorothy Olsen

Dorothy Olsen Masella, 81, formerly of Pearisburg, and now of Peterstown, W.Va. departed this life Monday evening September 17, 2007 at Carrington Place in Daleville.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on February 2, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Olaf and Tillevina Anderson Olsen and a very special niece of the late Andrew and Nelsina Preziosi. She was a Christian of The Roman Catholic Faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Pasquale J. “Pat” Masella; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia M. and Joel Eig of Daleville; three sons Glenn Masella of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Arthur Masella and wife, Irene of Manahawkin, N.J. and Paul Masella of Peterstown, W.Va.; a brother Andrew Preziosi of Livingston, N.J.; two sisters, June Ringe of Pt. Pleasant, N.J. and Jean Ahrens of Bayville, N.J.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with The Rev. Father John Prenelli officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
