Marunich, Janie Noreen

Janie Noreen Marunich, 61, of Narrows, VA passed away, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Center for Acute Hospice Care of Piedmont, Charlottesville, VA. Born April 23, 1955 at Newbern, VA she was the daughter of Randle and Mildred Leeson Davis of Pulaski, VA.

She was a member of the Narrows United Methodist Church. Janie was preceded in death by one brother, Joel Davis and one sister, Melanie Davis.

Including her parents, survivors include her husband, Sanfert S. “Brick” Marunich, two sons, Coltrane Lee Marunich and wife Jenna of Shawsville, VA and Louie Sanchez Marunich of Narrows, VA, daughter, Misty M. Carter of Radford, VA, three brothers, Rodney Davis of Blacksburg, VA and Stevie and Sheldon Davis of Pulaski, VA, five grandchildren, Cierra, Brooklynn and Melvin Carter, Kayleigh Harrison and Tyrion Marunich.
