Martin, Ronald Clifton

Ronald Clifton Martin, 70, of Draper, Va., passed away on Wednesday morning, December 1, 2010, at his home. Born in Erwin, Tenn., on June 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Richmond R. and Faye Bailey Martin. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Martin. He was a retired employee of R.A.A.P. and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Yates; sons, Steven R., Michael P., Harold K. and Eric D. Martin; sisters, Melba Coltrane and Becky Thatcher; brothers, Gerald, David and Robert Martin; nine grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and special friends, Katrina Osborne and her daughter, Cassie and Bobby Draper. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be held on Friday evening, December 3, 2010, at Stevens Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
