Martin, Rena Linkous

Rena Magdeline “Maggie” Martin (76) from Christiansburg, Virginia joined her parents C.P. and Rena Linkous, and siblings, Claude F. Linkous and Geraldine Hutchinson in heaven on November 14th, 2020.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Norman Martin; children Michael Martin (Lisa), Richard Martin (Lisa) and Donald Martin (Jennifer); grandchildren Scott Martin (Tiffany), Zach Martin (Chelsea), Alicia Early (Kyle), Justin Martin, Hunter Martin, Lucy Martin, and Connor Martin; great grandchildren Averie Martin, Graceyn Martin, Peyton Martin, Brysen Martin, and Harper Early; Sister Iola Melton and a multitude of cousins, nephews, nieces and more.
In addition to being a loving mother and maw maw to her children and grandchildren, she was also “maw maw” to all the children she cared for in her home over the past 30 years.

Maggie enjoyed many different things in life, from visiting the beach, pigeon forge and home of the Waltons, to watching reruns of old westerns, baking with her grandchildren, being pampered at the nail salon and spending time with her family.

Graveside services for Maggie will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, November 19th and 1:00 pm.
