Martin, Patricia Frazier

Patricia “Patty” Ann Frazier Martin, 81 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021, at her home. Patty was born on September 11, 1939, in Pearisburg, (Bluff City) and was a daughter of the late Josiah David Frazier and Gertrude Blankenship.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lindal Martin, three sisters, Genevieve Steger, Mildred Caldwell, Norma Gray Frazier and two brothers, Jerry David Frazier and Arnold Lee Frazier.

Patty graduated from Pearisburg High School (Red Devils) in 1958. She retired from the Celanese Corp in Narrows with over 30 years of service. She loved to cook, quilt and crochet for family and friends and going out dancing with her friends. She also loved the company of her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter, Kimberly M. Bray (Kevin) of Cloverdale, three grandsons, Brian Bray, Tyler Bray and Dylan Bray, three brothers, Roy E. “Buddy” Frazier of Mt Airy, MD, Billy E. Frazier of Roanoke, Lacy E. Frazier of Glen Lyn, one sister, Loretta Turner (Jimmy) of Narrows and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Rev Dr Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Angels Rest Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service from 2 – 3pm.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Brian Bray, Sherie Widdoes, Angel Widdoes, Julie Martin, Nikki Hodges Wohlford, Danielle Stephens, Samantha Lesher and Angie Sisson.
