In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Jones; and her brother, Raymond Dudley Graham. In her early years of life, Nancy worked at Imperial Reading in Christiansburg, Va., and then moved into managing several restaurant franchises. Nancy also worked at Corning Glass Works in Christiansburg and retired from Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Nancy’s “Green Thumb” was beautified by the special love and talents she had for gardening and landscaping. Anyone could experience this special God-blessed gift the moment they pulled up to her home. Nancy was a kind and gentle soul. She was a thoughtful and giving person that helped many people during her lifetime. Nancy always put others needs before her own. Nancy’s unselfish nature proved to be a lesson for those closest to her that loved her the most. Nancy also had a special place in her heart for dogs. Her favorite dog was a Pekingese she once had named “Lucinda.” Nancy is remembered and cherished by her family for her many words that encouraged those around her, her hugs that comforted us, her gifts of time and help that made life easier and most of all, for her heart that has spent a lifetime of loving and giving….. Nancy is survived by her sister, Annabelle Trueblood; her daughters, Barbara Martin-Evans and son-in-law Bobby Ray Evans, of Christiansburg, Priscilla Lynn Martin, of Radford, and Sheree Barnett and son-in-law, James Barnett, of Arizona; grandchildren, Regina Vest, of Colorado, Patrick “Neil” Dotey, of Florida, and Joshua Martin, of Christiansburg; greatgranddaughter; Kaitlyn Dotey, of Christiansburg; stepgrandson, Brian Evans and stepdaughter-in-law, Rachel, of Louisiana; and stepgrandchildren, Kayla and Dylan Evans. Although we mourn our beloved Nancy’s passing we celebrate her life and rejoice in the fact that she now walks the paths of Gold with her Lord and Savior with no pain or suffering.
