Martin, Merl Artis

Merl Artis Martin, 79, of Check, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Frances B. Martin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Christie Martin and David and Amy Martin; two grandchildren, Emily Martin and Kazey Martin; a special niece, Elizabeth Marshall; a special sister-in-law, Darlene Shelor; and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery.
