Martin, George Michael

George Michael Martin of Shawsville, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Edith Martin and his sister, Linda Martin.

He is survived by his special friend, Pamela Prather and numerous cousins. Also surviving is his faithful dog, Mariah. The family will receive friends at Horne Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sheree Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. Online condolences maybe sent by visiting www.hornefuneralservice.com.
