Martin, Dennis Matthew

Dennis Matthew Martin, 58, of Draper, Va., passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1957 in Wythe County, son of the late Orborn M. Martin and Daisy Irene Padgett Martin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny M. Martin.

He is survived by his three sisters, Rebecca Meador (Gary) of Newport, Deborah Seagle of Draper, Lynn Martin (Scott Forsyth) of Richmond; two nephews, Thomas M. Seagle III (Tonya) of Northern Virginia and Jeremiah Seagle (Jamie) of Riner and close friend Tim Gravely.

An avid sports fan, Dennis loved watching the Baltimore Orioles and Virginia Tech Football. He also enjoyed the times he spent playing golf with his friends or spending time fishing down by the river. A long time Master HVAC technician, Dennis took pride in making sure people were warm in the winter and cool in the summer. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, caring spirit and love of his family.

A memorial service will be will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Seagle and Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski Virginia.
