Martin, Claudine Meredith

Claudine Meredith Martin, 91 of Woodstock, VA; formerly of Pembroke, VA departed this life, entering through the veil of eternity on February 11, 2022 in the care of her loving family. Born February 13, 1930, in Mountain Lake, VA she was a daughter of the late Homer and Geraldine Smith Meredith.

Claudine took pride in her home. She often enjoyed antiques, sewing, reading, gardening, flowers, and embroidery. She was a member of faith with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Claudine is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Albert Kessinger and Alma Martin; children, Gloria Scott, Yvonne McCoy, and Debra Adeoti; and siblings, Olin Meredith, Teddy Meredith, Edna Waters, Sylvia Meredith, David Meredith, and Homer Meredith.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her daughter, Derhonda Cline (Robert) of Woodstock, VA; grandchildren, Lorie McCoy, John Meadows, Eric Scott, Blake McCoy, Kehinde Adeoti, Ty Adeoti, Gabrielle Adeoti, Torry Cline, and Heath Cline; four great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; a brother, Beverly Meredith (Linda); and sisters, Dorothy Akers, Anna Sue Thomas, Talmadge Packard (Bob), Coretta Babcock, and Demetria Ward.

There will be a funeral service conducted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Pembroke Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Mark Bunker presiding and eulogy given by Robert Cline. A dedication of the grave will follow in the Martin/Meredith Cemetery in Pembroke, VA. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
