Martin, Charles Gerald

Charles Gerald Martin, age 88, of Christiansburg and formerly of Fairlea, WV., died, Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Virginia Veterans Care Center. He was born in Organ Cave, WV. on October 18, 1927 to the late Jesse and Louella Eagle Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris L. Martin, Christiansburg, daughter, Dianna Dailey, Blacksburg, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Vicki Martin, Beckley, WV., grandchildren, Megan and Charlie Ivins, Lexington, Chad and Alex Dailey, Roanoke, Josh and Kristin Dailey, Vinton, Brandon and Shannon Martin, Oak Hill, WV., Corey and Morgan Martin, Beckley, WV., three great-grandchildren and expecting two more.

Interment was held privately. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
