Martin, Brian Henry
Brian Henry Martin, 29, of Fairfield, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, October 25, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident. Born November 12, 1982, in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., he was the son of Alfrey and Judy (Kee) Martin, of Fairfield, Pa. He was the husband of Kristen (Thompson) Martin, of Christianburg. Brian recently had been attending the Freedom Valley Worship Center, Gettysburg, Pa. He could always be depended upon to help others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents and wife, Brian is survived by his son, James Ray, of Nevada, Mo.; his daughter, Brooklyn Nicole and son, David Henry, both of Fairfield, Pa.; his sister, Sharon Atsatt and her fiance, Todd Walters, of Pulaski; sister, Christina Martin and her fiance, LaKeith Parker and daughter, Younique Parker; brother, Jeremy Martin and his fiance, Courtney Hockenberry and son, Jenner Hockenberry; sister, Krisalyn Martin; and brother, Zachary Martin, all of Fairfield, Pa.; his grandmother, Myrtle Quade, of Hughesville, Md.; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special friend, Dannie Reed, of Littlestown, Pa. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Pembroke on Guinnee Mountain. The visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. in the church. Family and friends are invited, and the ladies of the church will be serving food after the service. The interment at the Newbern Cemetery will be a private service conducted by the family at a later date. The Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, Pa., is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
