Arthur James (A.J.) Martin, 69, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Carilion NRV Medical Center.

He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Ann Dowdy Martin; sons, Dale Martin, James Martin; sisters, Cora East, Janie Dalton; stepdaughters, Patty Duncan, Donna Bryant and husband, Daniel; stepsons, Paul Sikes, Jody Sikes and wife, Colette.
