Martin, Alice Shealor

Alice Shealor Martin, 86, of Blacksburg, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at her home. She was born in Blacksburg, Va. on August 16, 1920. In addition to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shealor, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Kelley; her brother, Freddie Shealor; and nephew, Rusty Criner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, B. K. (Boots) Martin; son, Buddy Martin and wife, Sue; son, David Martin and wife, Ann; and daughter, Eileen Kelley and husband, Felix; her grandchildren, Kathryn Kelley, Matt and Jenny Martin, Meg Martin, Wes Martin, Carrie and C.K. Funderburgh; and great granddaughter, Emily Martin. She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Ettie and Bill McCoy, Fannie and Jim Criner, Frances and T.O. Williams; and brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Bonnie Shealor and their families.

Graveside services will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon on Friday, July 13, 2007 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
