amem_lighthouse.jpgVictor Blair Marshall, 64, of Hillside Apartments in Pearisburg, departed this life Saturday morning September 12, 2009 after a long illness. Born in Giles County on August 14, 1945, he was a son of the late Hyman Montigue and Pearlie Mae Martin Marshall.

He had been employed at Quantico Military Base for several years and later at Mt. Lake Hotel when he came back to Giles County to care for his mother. He was a member of the family of faith at Bethel Chapel Church in Clendennin.

Blair was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Norman M. Marshall. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Goldie Eloise Mozena, of Powhatan Point, Ohio and Celia Ann Drumm, of Riverside, Rhode Island; several beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of loving cousins and relatives and many faithful and dear friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Chapel Church in the Clendennin Community near Narrows, with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Memory Gardens at Narrows.
