Mamie Hale Marshall, 77, of Pulaski, Va., departed this life on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Lewis Gale (Pulaski) Hospital. She was born on September 15,1937, in Pulaski, Va., to the late James B Hale Sr. and Florence Rogers Hale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Marshall; and son, Anthony W, Hale. Ms. Marshall was a devoted, retired employee of St. Albans for over 20 years.

Surviving are brothers: David Hale of Blacksburg, Va., and James Hale Jr., (Lucille) of Pulaski, Va.; daughters, Natalie Bristol (Juan) of Morganton, N.C., Lisa Dobbins (Kevin H.) of Dublin, Va., and Patricia Marshall of Woodbridge, Va.; grandchildren, Travis Hale (Neka) of Morganton, N.C., Tairon Hale (Ashley) of Gastonia, N.C., Shontay Crawford of Atlanta, Ga., and E.J. Dobbins (Ashley) of Pulaski, Va.; niece, Levette Hale of Rockhill, S.C.; a special adoptive daughter, Angela Connor of Pulaski, Va.; four great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014, at Randolph Avenue Methodist Church, Pulaski, Va., with the Rev. Sharon Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Dublin, Va. 24084. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, December 14, 2014, at Randolph Avenue Methodist Church where family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
