Marshall, Chester

Chester Marshall, 79, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eners Harvey and Mattie Lillian Huff Marshall; sister, Loucille Jones; infant brother, Arnold Wayne Marshall.

He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde Marshall, Charles Marshall (Margaret), Clinton Marshall (Jean); sisters, Muriel Ratcliff, Lillian Gillespie; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Maberry Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Hebron Quesenberry officiating. The interment will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery with full Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
