Marshall, Charles Clifton

Charles Clifton Marshall, 78, of 2518 Kirby Road, Draper, Va. died early Wednesday morning, May 2, 2007, at his home. He was born in Carroll Co. on April 26, 1929 and was the son of the late James Clevy Marshall and Ila Shelton Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was a retired employee of Southern States, Pulaski, a member of the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church and he served in the United States Army in Korea from 1950 until 1953.

Surviving are: his wife, Anita Huff Marshall, Draper; son and daughter-in-law, Clifton Dean and Sheila Marshall, Dugspur, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna M. and Tim Hopkins, Draper, Va.; grandchildren, James Carson Marshall and Fianc?, Melissa Hanes, Draper, Timothy Kyle Hopkins, Draper, Amanda Gayle Marshall, Dugspur; step-grandson and spouse, David and Jennifer Dunford, Dugspur; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Elrica Marshall, Willis; two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery, Dugspur, Va. Visiting will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
