Marshall, Burnett B.

Burnett B. Marshall, 98 of Indian Valley, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. He is preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Dolly P. Marshall of the home; daughters, Joan Marshall Eads of Pulaski, Patsy Ann Marshall of Roanoke; sons, Alfred F. Pearce, Jr. of the home, Ronald W. Pearce & wife Cheryl of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, John Christopher Eads, Sr. & wife Donna of Pulaski, Nicole D. Wood of Roanoke; great-grandchildren, John Christopher Eads, Jr. and wife Tember of Fincastle, Benjamin H. Eads and Lori Hale of Dublin, Kristin T. Wood, Justin N. Wood, Megan H. Wood, Teagan M. Wood all of Roanoke; step great-granddaughter, Holly Riner of Pulaski; special niece, Bonnie Outten of Indian Valley; numerous other loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Cox, Pastor Linda Motley, and Pastor Terry Sternberg officiating. Interment to follow in the Cox Cemetery. Military rites by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post # 1115 and the Hillsville Masonic Lodge # 193.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the funeral home. .
