Marshall, Bernice Lawson Wirt

Bernice Ellen Lawson Wirt Marshall, age 81 of Radford passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at the NRV Medical Center. Born May 26, 1933 in Radford, she was the daughter of the late Ben & Mabel Harrell Lawson. Her brother, Jack Lawson also preceded her in death.

She worked at Imperial Reading Textile and was a school bus driver for Pulaski County Schools for 16 years.

She is survived by her

Sons-Mike Wirt & Rena Farley – Radford; Benny & Nilsa York Wirt – Pulaski; Buddy Wirt & Elizabeth Martin – Floyd;
Grandchildren – Travis Michael Wirt, Audrey Lee Wirt & Travis Cox, Benny Lee Wirt, Jr., Terry Joseph Wirt, Kory Lee Wirt & Caitlin Phillips.

Great Grandchildren – Hannah Grace Wirt, Harper Sage Wirt, Cambrynn Rhea Phillips

Brother-Jerry Lawson – NC

Sister- Sylvia King – MD

Sister-in-law – Jeane Thompson – Roanoke

Daughters-in-Law: Dana Lee Wirt and Melissa Earles

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday-October 31, 2014 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel– Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.
