Marsh, Judith Howard

Judith Howard Marsh, 69, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in North Carolina on March 30, 1940, to the late Robert Sr. and Lily King Phillips.

Judith was the office manager of Christ Episcopal Church in Blacksburg for 37 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Cary M. Henson, of Floyd, Va., and Lori H. Marsh and fiance, Dewey Lawrence, of Pilot, Va.; granddaughters, Hannah and Rachel Henson, and Judith (Nikki) Grissom; grandson, Jacob Lawrence; great-grandson, Julian Marsh; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Jr., and Diane Phillips, of North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Barry Dameron, of Nevada; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2009, in the Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Scott West officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church’s parish hall.
