Helen Lee Fowlkes Manuel age 95 of Barren springs VA passed away Monday March 25, 2019. She was born August 16, 1923 in Richmond VA the daughter of the late Clarence W & Grace Lee Saunders Fowlkes. She attended the Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P Manuel, a daughter & son-in-law Joyce & Dennis Rash, several brothers & sisters, a grandchild & several great grandchildren.

Helen is survived by;

3 daughters & sons-in-law: Betty & David Morehead of Grahams Forge VA; Jeanne & Tommy Dalton of Ivanhoe VA; Mary & Jay Cochran of Barren Springs VA

2 sons & daughters –in-law: Paul Douglas & Connie Manuel of Dublin VA; Thomas Raymond & Nancy Manuel of Kingsport TN

2 brothers & sister-in-law: Bill & Hetty Fowlkes of Grahams Forge VA; Richard Fowlkes of Pulaski VA

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & extended family & friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday march 28, 2019 at the Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Pastor Jim Tunnell, Rev Greg Cochran & Elder Wade Whisman officiating, the family will receive friends at the Church Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until service time. Interment services will be held Friday March 29, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Evergreen Cemetery.
