Mannon, Pauline Lester

Pauline Lester Mannon, 97 of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, February 09, 2019 in Salem, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Erdia Reed Lester; husband, Troy Mannon; brother, Alton & wife Lucille D. Lester; sister, Aluvia & husband, Charlie Jennings; sister-in-law, Geneva D. Lester; and great-nephew, John Raysor.

Pauline was loving, caring, and an inspiration to all.

She is survived by her son, Dean (Mary) Mannon; daughter, Lavene (Olen) Hylton; grandsons, Todd (Angie) Hylton and Adam (Christa) Hylton; great-granddaughters, Haley and Hannah Hylton; great-grandson, Austin Hylton; brother, Virgil C. (Peggy) Lester; and nieces, Nelda Kay (Bob) Raysor and Connie Jennings Graham (R D Faulkner).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mother was a dedicated member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the church at 3883 Alum Ridge Rd NW, Floyd, VA 24091.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren as well as JCT Assisted Living and the Recovery & Care Center at Richfield in Salem.
