amem_whiteroseTamala Lynn Manning (Tammy), born April 16, 1962, joined her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2016, surrounded by her family. Tamala is preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) Hinson Manning and Jettie Southern Manning.

Left to cherish her memory are her fiancée, Charles White; granddaughter, Layla Grayce Largen; son, Geoffrey William Manning and wife, Elise; daughter, Ciera Nicole Largen and husband, Travis; sisters, Joyce Gray and husband, Kenneth; Deborah Cox and husband, Fred, and Brigitte Hedge and husband, Douglas, along with many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends.

Tamala’s previous job at Christopher and Banks, where she was manager for eight years, was her ministry. She loved her customers and was quick to listen and slow to speak. When she did speak, it was with compassion and love. Her next ministry came when she joined Charlie on the road and they made a dynamic team of CW Trucking and traveled across the United States.

Tamala was a very wise, gracious and beautiful woman. Her passion was her family. She was an amazing mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Tamala’s greatest prayer came to be in having a wonderful family that she was so proud of. She has won the victory and heard sweet Jesus say “Well done my good and faithful servant”. Tamala’s message to all is to live in the moment and be thankful to God for everything.

A celebration of life will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Steven’s Funeral Home. Visitation 4 p.m. and funeral service beginning at 5 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
