Betty Lynn Robertson Manning, 72, of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at her home. Betty Lynn was born on August 21, 1948 in Buchanan Co., VA and was a daughter of the late Paul Matthew Robertson and Hazel Marie Willis Robertson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, J.W. Manning and her son, Matthew Dwayne Manning.

Betty Lynn lived most of her life on Wolf Creek in Narrows. She was a 1966 graduate of Narrows High School (Greenwaves), a licensed cosmetologist and later obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree (LPN). She married Bill in 2012 where they split their time between Narrows and Lake Placid, FL, attending The King’s Way in Narrows and the First Baptist Church in Lake Placid. While she will be greatly missed by many family and friends, we are comforted in knowing that she is reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Matthew, who passed away on June 3, 2005.

She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) H. Farler of Narrows, one sister, Rebecca R. Lewis of Narrows, one niece, Jennifer M. Eccles of Ruckersville, one great niece, Jade M. Eccles and her fur baby, Gabby.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2pm at The King’s Way Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows, (Wolf Creek) with Pastor Tony Robertson officiating with burial following at her family cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service from 1 – 2pm.
