Larry Ray Lytton and Nancy Faye Lytton, 61 and 59 respectively, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away within hours of each other, Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Larry was born on October 25, 1953, to the late Howard Walton and Gertrude Snider Lytton.

His loving wife of 35 years, Nancy, was born on August 4, 1955, to the late Jack and Dorothy Sawyer. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lytton Chrisley.

He is survived by his brothers, Junior (Nancy) Lytton, Leroy (Ann) Lytton, and David (Melinda) Lytton; and his sister, Mary Bishop.

Larry worked for over 40 years as the owner and operator of Lytton Garage.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Josophane Burton, Linda Dowdy, Joann Sawyer, and Peggy Sawyer and her husband, Andrew Otey; and her brothers, Steven Sawyer and Randy (Joyce) Sawyer.

Nancy worked for 32 years as a weaver at New River Industries in Radford, Va.

Larry and Nancy were a wonderful couple – compassionate, kind, and caring. They were the couple who would bend over backwards for people in need, regardless of their station in life. The loved their dogs just like their human family – and Nikki, Rocky, and Sugar will certainly miss their parents. They loved their family, loved their friends, loved the Lord, and until the last, loved each other.

The family will receive friends at DeVilbiss Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services to follow directly after with the Reverend Michael Bonds officiating. Interment will be held at the Lytton Family Cemetery in Montgomery County, Va.
