Lynch, Martha Dillion

Martha Ann Dillion Lynch, age 82, of Fort Washington, Maryland, formerly of McCoy, Va., died, Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in Manassas, Va. She was born in McCoy, Va. on September 17, 1931 to the late Charles William and Naomi Albert Dillon, and was also preceded in death by her husband John Jackson “Jack” Lynch. Martha Ann graduated from Radford College in 1951  and retired from the AFL-CIO with 24 years of service. She is survived by her, son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne C. and Edith E. Lynch, of Manassas, Va., numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with the Rev. Zeke Zanatos and Rev. Rufus Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Centennial Christian Church Cemetery, McCoy, Va. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Centennial Christian Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 427, McCoy, Va. 24111. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Sunday before the service in the church. Arrangements are being handled by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
