Mary Katherine (Kitten) Willard Lutz, 86, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion W. Lutz; and son, Jay Dean Lutz. She is survived by her four sons, Melvin (Edna) H. Lutz, of Salem, Va., Larry Lutz, of Triangle, Va., Marion (Janet) Lutz Jr., of Dandridge, Tenn., and Charles (Phyllis) Lutz, of Christiansburg, Va. Also surviving are grandchildren, Debbie and Denny Carrol, of St. Louis, Mo., Curtis and Mary Lutz, of Hope Mills, N.C., Wes and Mary Lutz, of Salem, Va., Anthony Martin, of Elliston, Va., Mark Lutz, Diane Lutz, who is stationed in Iraq, Kimberly Lutz, of Triangle, Va., Kelly Lutz, of Triangle, Va., Scott Lutz, of Alaska, Alvin Lutz, of Riner, Va., Brian Harris, of Radford, Va., Michael Lutz, of Radford, Va., and Michelle Lutz, of Christiansburg, Va.; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 greatgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Reba Lawrence, Christiansburg, Va. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va., and the Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Horne Funeral Chapel with Mr. Wesley Lutz officiating.
