Lucas, Reba Dare

Reba Dare Lucas, 79, Of Shawsville Virginia, passed away, Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Heritage Hall-Rich Creek Virginia. She was born in Giles County Virginia, on April 24, 1939 to the late Frank Lee Wilson and Hallie Snow Williams.

She is also preceded in death by her son Gary DeWayne Lucas as well as 9 brothers and 5 sisters. Reba was the youngest and last survivor of her 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Luther Edward Lucas, and her daughters Debbie Young, Dianna Wright, Tammy Harris and her sons Randy Lucas and Monty Lucas, and 11 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at Horne Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Tony Robertson will be officiating. In lieu of Flowers, please consider donations to Heritage Hall Memory Center – Rich Creek, Virginia.
