Lucas, Pearl Marie Lang
Pearl Marie Lang Lucas, 72 of Narrows went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18th, 2016. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on September 18th, 1944, and was the daughter of the late George Washington Lang and Vergie Mae Bailey Lang.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Jimmy Lowe Stump and Paul Daniel Lucas; two grandsons, Phillip Daniel Haynes and Michael Lucas; two brothers, George Washington Lang, Jr., and Bud Lang; and a sister, “Sis” St. Clair.
Pearl was a longtime employee of Pulaski Furniture, and a faithful member of North Narrows Tabernacle of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading books, and spending time with her cat, “Bo Cat.”
Left to cherish her memory are a son, Jimmy Dale Stump; three daughters, Regina Neely and husband Junior of Pearisburg, Shelia Lucas and husband Billy of Salisbury, North Carolina, Barbara Stump and Ronnie Chapman of Pearisburg; seven grandchildren, Ray Neely, Kimberly Price, Daniel Stump, Gabriel Price, B.J. Lucas, Christie Stump, Christopher Stump; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, including two special friends, Ruby Jane Davis and Iris Cruise.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Rev. Paul Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
