Lowry, Barbara Linville

Barbara Janice Linville Lowry, age 64, crossed over on March 10th 2020. She was captivatingly beautiful and had a joyous laugh.

Barbara has lived in her little house in the Valley for the last 40 years; she was a hairdresser, a caregiver, a mother and friend. She loved gardening, cooking and sunbathing at the beach. Barbara loved the snow too, and every winter the “Live to Sled, Sled to Live” sign would be brought out and hung on the front door. Her home was always open to anyone that needed a place to lay their head and she was a second mom to many.

She spent her final moments in the arms of her loving daughter, surrounded by beautiful flowers, her favorite Beatles songs and those who truly loved her. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Abrea Lowry and two grandchildren, Luke and Lilah Lowry. Barbara also leaves behind three brothers, Bill Linville, Jim Wright and Robert Linville; her loving friend David Gallimore and special caregiver, Brandy Leftwich. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Lowry and husband Michael E. Lowry. Barbara will be sorely missed by those who knew her, but we know she is now dancing in the Strawberry Fields.

Services will be private.
