Lovern, Kathleen Lee Catron
God truly took a sweetheart to heaven on Valentine’s Day 2015. Kathleen Lee Catron Lovern, 85, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo & Mary Grissom; daughter, Wanda Catron; sister, Virginia Bost; and brother, Samuel “Bud” Grissom.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Matheson (John), Judy Gardner, Juanita Hackman (Steve), and Sandra Davis (Ronnie); sons, William “Bill” Catron (Brenda) and Fred Lovern Jr.; sister, Margaret Keffer; 12 beloved grandchildren, Melissa Patton, Donna Payne, Kimi Clark, Cindy Catron, Tania Stewart, William Catron, Jr., Benny Caviness, Ricky Caviness, Donnie Linkous, Michelle Lovern, Wendy Long, Timmy Logn, 16 beloved great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who was loved and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be conducted from McCoy Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18th with Pastor Gary Kingery officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
