amem_resurrection.jpgEarl Dean Lovern, 55, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Christiansburg, Va. on July 29, 1951, to the late Andrew William and Pauline Collins Lovern.

A long time employee of Hodge Trucking,

He is survived by his lifelong companion, Alice McPeak of Christiansburg; son, Nathan Andrew Lovern of Christiansburg; stepson, Jeremy McPeak of Blacksburg; sisters, Joyce Ratcliffe of Knoxville, Tenn., Pat Shepard of Christiansburg, Aloma Shears of New Orleans, La.; and a brother, William Andrew Lovern of Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
