David C. Lovern, of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. David was a cherished member of Max Creek Baptist Church and was loved by many dear friends and family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gertrude Lovern; brother, Clarence Lovern; and sisters, Edith Hoffman, Aileen Corvin, Marleen Williams and Melba Corvin. He is also preceded in death by his son, Curtis Lovern; and his grandson, Cameron Fitzwater. David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Diane Lovern, his brothers Fred and Garnett,daughters, Sonia Fitzwater, Katrina Hill, Cassandra East, Amanda Lovern and son Harold Nester, Jr.

David will be missed by many, but especially his 11 grandchildren, his 6 great-grandchildren and his great-great granddaughter.

Family will receive visitors at Max Creek Baptist Church on Friday, February 28, 2014 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Funeral service will start at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Mike Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Pulaski V.F.W. post # 1184 conducting the military graveside rites.

The family wishes to thank Pastor Mike Coleman and a special nurse, Debbie Akers.
