Lovern, Curtis Wayne

Curtis Wayne Lovern, 55, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008. He was born on September 1, 1953 in Montgomery County, Va.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Ann Lovern Harris, and grandparents, Herman and Clara Mae Hale and Aaron and Jessie Lovern. He is survived by parents, Curtis and Mary Lovern; a brother, Darrell Lovern and wife, Lee; and 18 nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Newburn Church of Jesus.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday December 30, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Rev. J.P. Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
