Surviving, wife, Mary Lovelace of the home; four daughters & spouses, Marilyn & Daryl Erb of Pamplin, VA, Virgei & Quantry Pembelton of Amelia, VA, Sherry Lovelace of Farmville, Va and Roberta & Lynn Keen of Meherrin, VA; one son, Basil Edgar Lovelace, II of Pamplin, Va; two brothers & spouse, Jesse Phipps & Mary Katherine of Bel Air, MD and Ralph Charles Lovelace of Fayetteville, NC; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and fourteen nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.in Haw Orchard Baptist Church, Rugby, VA. Interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Randy Lovelace will officiate. Military rites conducted by Grayson County VFW Post 7726
