Love, Carl Stephen

Carl Stephen Love, 77, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was born on June 27, 1933, in Portsmouth, Va., to the late William H. and Rena Watson Love. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Glenn Love; another brother at birth; and a grandson, Alex Stephen Love. He retired after 35 years of service from Wade’s Foods as a manager. He is survived by his wife, Carol Reedy Love; sons, Stephen Love and wife, Lisa, of Floyd County, Va., and Thomas (Tommy) Love, of Christiansburg, Va.; grandchildren, Kayla Love and Taylor Love, of Floyd County, Va.; brothers, W.H. Love Jr. and wife, Doris, of Kenley, N.C., and Raymond Love and wife, Peggy, of Springdale, Ark. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010, from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Montgomery officiating.
