Helen Chloe Hawkins Losh, 96, formerly of Narrows, passed away Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at Myrtle Beach Manor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

She was born in Dumpling Run, Braxton County, West Virginia on September 28th, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Bernice Mick Hawkins. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Lee Losh, Jr.; two brothers, Sherwood Hawkins and Oscar Hawkins, Jr.; three sisters, Thelma Fletcher, Oleta Bennett, and Georgie Heath; and two special friends, Jeannie and Dickie.

Left to cherish her memory are a son, Larry Losh and wife Mary Lana of Huddleston; a daughter, Vicky Evans and fiancée Richard Badger of Supply, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Lori M. Robins of Narrows, Julia M. Clowdis of Cloverdale, Paul V. Morrison, II of Marion, Jonathan L. Losh of Sterling, Virginia, and J. David Losh of Hood River, Oregon; and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends, including a loving caregiver, Deane Langley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4th, 2018 at 11 AM at First United Methodist Church in Narrows with Rev. Doug Armstrong and Rev. Christopher Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows Thursday, May 3rd from 6 to 8 PM.
