Julius Woolen Long. Jr., age 65 of Pulaski passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born July 12, 1944 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Julius Woolen Long, Sr. and Callie Belle Brewer Long. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lilly Tabor and half-brother, Robert Brewer.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam conflict where he was a prisoner of war for five years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Randall Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Hufford Cemetery, Pulaski with full military honors conducted by the Pulaski V.F.W. Post # 1184.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
