Long, James Joseph

James Joseph Long, 51, of Max Meadows formerly of Christiansburg passed away July 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Ruby Long; niece, Adelle Stevers and nephews, Thomas & Adam Long.

James is survived by his son, James Wesley Long; grandson, Phillip Huddle; brothers, Danny Long and wife, Linda of Max Meadows, Mike Long of Max Meadows & Clayton Long and wife, Gloria of McCoy; sisters, Goldie Long of Christiansburg, Donna Shrewsbury and husband, Dewey of Elliston, Debbie Quesenberry and husband, Orie Lee of Christiansburg & Lisa Long and fiancée, Maurice Dooley of Christiansburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be announced at a soon to be announced date.
