Lockard, Gary Phillip

Gary Phillip Lockard, 71 of Dublin, died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Montgomery. He was born on August 25, 1948 in Abingdon, and was the son of the late Virginia Roseberry Lockard and Alvie McKinley Lockard.

Gary will be remembered by many as a great teacher and mentor having taught for many years, in the Pulaski County Public Schools. He was a long-time member of the Dublin United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife Marian Richardson Lockard of Dublin.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. There will be no formal visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
