Linkous, Wayne Evans

Wayne Evans Linkous, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Velma Linkous; and sister, Mary Cruise.

Wayne is survived by his brother, Walker Linkous; nephew, David Cruise; nieces, Belinda Hypes and Pamela C. Young; his faithful companion, Bandit; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Wayne and Walker both served and retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. and graduated from Virginia Tech.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
