Linkous, Rachael Marie

Rachel Marie Linkous, 70, of Blacksburg, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006. She was the daughter to the late Fred and Cannie Nooncester Linkous. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Masion Linkous.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Haven Linkous; son, Phillip Wayne Linkous, Sr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Haven “June” Cook, Clairmont and Robert Yates; brother, Curtis Linkous; grandchildren, Phillip Wayne Linkous, Jr., Matthew Dewayne Linkous, Jessica Nicole Linkous, Isaac Wesley Linkous, Luke Bradley Linkous, Tabatha and William Dudding, Samantha and Michael Kendrick. Seven greatgrandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 at Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
