Linkous, Pauline Cox

Pauline Cox Linkous, 85, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Linkous; parents, William and Bessie Cox; sister, Lorraine Cox Harris.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Bruce and husband Mark; grandchildren, Kevin Martin and wife Katelyn, Allyson Martin, Jared Bruce; aunt, Mildred Cox; and her dogs whom she loved so much and were her constant companions, Precious and Gizmo.

She was a lifetime member of Oak Grove Church. Pauline enjoyed spending her summers with her grandchildren at Covey’s Campground at Claytor Lake, and riding golf carts. She loved working outdoors and tending to her flowers.

The Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Chandler Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
